Intervention
Crisis intervention services are available. Staff are
available to listen, provide support and make referrals on a wide range of
issues. Crisis intervention services may be available by phone and are
available in person for anyone in need of immediate assistance. Services are
free of charge and confidential.
Advocacy

Court Accompaniment
An advocate will go to your court proceedings,
interviews with law enforcement, state attorney’s and the hospital with you.
Case Management
/ Case Status Update
My Covenant Place will notify you of your case status
no matter how small or insignificant you may think the developments may be
including: filing of charges, dismissal of any or all charges, scheduling,
scheduling changes or continuances, of any public court proceeding, to include
post judgment hearings, terms of any negotiated plea agreements, sentencing or
parole hearings.
Civil Protective
Order Preparation
A Civil Protection from Abuse Coordinator will
provide front line assistance to victims of domestic violence by assisting
victims with filling out and filing the appropriate pro se paperwork to the
courts to obtain a protective order.

Referrals
We will equip you with all the necessary information
to help navigate you within the system and throughout your case. We will put
you in contact with services available to you through referrals to other
agencies.

Crime Victim
Compensation
The Crime Victims Compensation Program is monies set
aside to assist victims of crime with out of pocket expenses that are a direct
result of the crime. We make our clients aware of the availability of these
funds and assist in completing the required forms and gather the needed
documentation.
Defendant
Release Notification
We will assist clients enrolling in VINELink.
VINELink provides 24-hour defendant release notification upon detention and
other pending judicial proceedings.
Victim Impact
Statement Preparation Assistance
We will explain and assists our clients with the
preparation of their victim impact statement containing information concerning
any harm, including financial, social, psychological and physical harm, done to
or loss suffered by the victim of the crime.
Post Disposition
Support
Monitor restitution awarded to the victim and ensures
compensation prior to the expiration of probation/parole.
Employer / Creditor
Intersession
Provide notification and supportive documents to
employers, creditors and others on behalf of the victim.
Empowerment Counseling/Support Groups
This project focuses on servicing individuals who are
required to take classes per a court order, at the request of their employer,
or for personal reasons. We are a Certified and Court Approved Program that
offers domestic violence classes, anger management classes, and parenting
classes for individuals.
