You may email or submit your cover letter and resume to: ABUSER INTERVENTION PROGRAM Facilitators are responsible for implementing the Domestic Violence Abuser Intervention Program’s Alpha Project. § Conducts intakes: Uses appropriate assessment tools. § Facilitates domestic violence groups for perpetrators. o Strictly adheres to the treatment and intervention standards in conducting groups for perpetrators. o Enforces group members to the group rules. o Collects payment and keeps each file current on payments for services from all clients. o Submits to the Courts and Justice System all necessary documentation and request for payment authorizations for both intakes and groups. § Keeps all group member files current with contact reports following each session, as well as notes on any between-session contacts. § Attends supervision meetings. § Maintains personnel file, signing and adhering to all the standards of conduct set by MCP. § Receives training in the model used to facilitate groups and remains current with any changes in requirements. § Writes timely and professional reports to the courts on clients as required by Probation or referring source. § Provides services in a culturally sensitive manner. § Remains current in the field of domestic violence. § Conducts orientations for clients. § Conducts and maintains community relations with referring sources. § Completes all other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Bachelors Degree Required. Masters in Counseling, Psychology or Criminal Justice degree preferred; degree in related field or equivalent experience. Compatibility with agency and MCP purpose and goals. Well developed case management, problem solving, and communication and telephone skills. Experience facilitating male and female batterer and victim groups.
